Digging.

This family spends.
A lot of time digging.
A lot of time.
Daddy on the inside.
Mommy on the outside.
The kids in the sandbox.
Daddy's sandbox is in the basement.


The floor in four rooms had to be taken out.
Which meant breaking the concrete.
Digging up huge rocks and massive amounts of sand.
50 cm deep.
To prepare for new gravel.
Insulation.
Floorheating.
Concrete and tiles.
Takes some time.
And so much energy.
But it has to be done.
And it has to be done properly.
Mommy's sandbox is in the frontyard.


The plan is.
To turn this dirtpile.
Into a soft and green.
Grasshill.
It was covered with bushes before.
They were too close to the house.
Got rid of those.
The roots.
Take a lot of time to get rid of.
Then an old stonewall.
Has to be removed.
Some dirt moved around.
Some seeds put in the ground.
The kids.
Do most of their digging.
In various sandboxes.
That too is of course.
Hard work.
